I don't think Maximilian's children with the Indian woman should have titles, because he was already married at the time of his marriage to the Indian, so his marriage to the Indian is null and void. And his so called marriage to the Indian would be morganatic anyway.
Of course they don't have titles.Maximilian lost all his titles and possessions the moment he left his legal wife (he is also considered dead right now, because the ship he was on sinked).
I'm considering removing the "de" particle from his and his last two children's surname.
And, as I said before, they are married by the tribe's law, so it's nothing on paper (they're just living together).
